Matthew Dickson is a passionate young minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. With a burning desire to see men and women come to the knowledge of the truth. He believes that God wants to bring salvation, healing, deliverance and prosperity to everyone who believes and receives the finished works of His Son Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary for humanity.  And God is willing to use anyone who will make themselves available to fulfill this divine mandate. God wills all men to be saved (1 Tim. 2:4), and if God can use anybody, God can use you. “For there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few” (1 Samuel 14:6). You can accomplish much for the kingdom if you will only make yourself pliable to the Spirit of God and surrender your all to His Lordship. Where everything that means anything, means nothing to you. Where you have just but one obsession, to know the Lord, to please the Lord and to continually do His will.

You Can Hear His Voice

There are many believers who believe they cannot hear personally and specifically from God. But the Lord Jesus said, My sheep will hear my voice (John 10:27). The Bible is full of people who heard God’s voice and it was very real to them. You can hear His voice, too. Isaiah said “. He wakeneth morning by morning, he wakenenth mine ear to hear as the learned” (Isaiah. 50:4)

Spirit Led Prayer

The Holy Spirit guides the believer in prayer. We do not know how to pray as we ought; we do not know what to pray for, nor how to ask for it. But there is One who is always at hand to help, (see John 14:16-17), and He knows what we should pray for. He helps our infirmity in this matter of prayer as in other matters (Romans 8:26).  He teaches us to pray. True prayer is prayer in the Spirit, that is, the prayer that the Holy Spirit inspires and directs. The prayer in which the Holy Spirit leads us is the prayer “according to the will of God” (Romans 8:27)

Expect Guidance

Like David, we must confidently ask the Lord for guidance before taking any step and expect His leading.  There are many who cannot find the way, though they ask God to show it to them, simply because they have not the absolutely undoubting expectation that God will show them the way. God promises to show it if we expect it confidently.
